Date: Saturday April 30, 2022 Time: 10 am to 12 pm Teacher: Angela Reid, Master Gardener Volunteer COURSE OBJECTIVES: Students will learn which warm season varieties can be started now to get a jumpstart on Florida’s planting season Many varieties of vegetables from Beans to Watermelon can be started here twice a year. Usually St. Patrick’s Day and Labor Day until heat or frost kills plants. In this class we will explore the varieties that will grow the best in our (9a) Central Florida weather. CLASS ACTIVITIES: Growing medium, seeds and containers will be provided by the instructor. Students can purchase additional seeds at the Cannery or bring their own. PREREQUISITES: None…Green Thumb not required Price: $10 per person This class is limited to a max 12 persons. Classes are non-refundable
